Use your financial leadership to help transform lives across Newcastle.
Outstanding organisations deserve outstanding governance.
Newcastle Foodbank is seeking an experienced finance professional to join its Board of Trustees as Treasurer at an important point in the charity’s continued development. This is an opportunity to contribute your professional expertise to an organisation that is not only providing emergency support to thousands of people each year, but is also tackling the underlying causes of food poverty through welfare advice, community partnerships and long-term intervention programmes. About Newcastle Foodbank
Newcastle Foodbank has become one of the city’s most respected charities, supporting thousands of individuals and families experiencing financial hardship each year. Its work is rooted in dignity, compassion and practical support, delivered by a dedicated team of staff, volunteers and partners across Newcastle.

- Monitor financial performance, cash flow and reserves.
- Support the development of fundraising strategy from a financial perspective.
- Act as the principal Board contact for the charity’s external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with Charity Commission reporting requirements and wider regulatory obligations.
